Fewston Reservoir

A shoot from a few weeks ago at beautiful Fewston Reservoir. I've been trying to resolve an issue with my website gallery so hence the delay.

After a very frustrating time at work I took myself off with my camera with the sole intention of shooting to relieve a bit of stress, and it did work.

I really want to shoot more long exposures, so the following shot was my first experiment with using my Lee Big Stopper:

Canon EOS 5D mkIII with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS II USM Lens

161sec @ f/4, ISO 100 (65mm)

Alright, I know the area above the water surface isn't the most picturesque but the whole idea of this shot was getting used to the long exposure filter, and in those terms I was pretty pleased with the outcome.

This next shot (which you may have already seen on my Instagram post) was not planned at all but it just seemed to present itself and I spent a good 15 minutes at this area trying to get the best angle for the shot. I finally decided on this one:

Canon EOS 5D mkIII with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS II USM Lens

1/80sec @ f/5.6, ISO 100 (40mm)

And of course, one of the reservoir itself:

Canon EOS 5D mkIII with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS II USM Lens

1/8sec @ f/22, ISO 100 (24mm)

Here are a few more pictures from the shoot, hope you enjoy.
