The third installment of my Iconic Yorkshire series is the idyllic Bolton Abbey.
Set on the banks of the River Wharfe, the abbey boasts a ruined priory and a plethora of walking and rambling routes. The peak of Simon's Seat, the Strid section of the Wharfe and the hidden gem Posforth Gill Force are the main photographic attractions, and one could spend days photographing this lovely setting.
It was a perfect opportunity for me to get more practice using the Big Stopper to do some long exposures, which is quickly becoming a favourite aspect of my photography.
I hope you enjoy the photos, please feel free to leave feedback.
